Broadband provider
ADSL24 has replaced its old entry-level (budget) internet access package (
Home 1) with a new and cheaper (£12.90 per month) service -
Home 5 - that also brings with it a significant increase in the monthly usage allowance to 5GB (GigaBytes).
The new package includes download speeds of up to 24Mbps (1.4Mbps uploads) over BT's national network, a 1 month contract, 5GB peak usage allowance (Unlimited offpeak), free migrations, a Static IP, 200MB of webspace and "
unlimited" e-mail accounts.
Comparison - OLD Home 1 Package
Usage Limit: 1GB
Monthly Price: £14.90
Comparison - NEW Home 5 Package
Usage Limit: 5GB
Monthly Price: £12.90
The move is welcome because the selection of budget priced deals on short 1 month contracts for light usage customers is still somewhat limited.
