Cable giant Virgin Media UK has announced that it is to
cut the price of its triple-play broadband, TV and Phone bundles by £100 until 29th June 2011. The new discount would be on-top of existing deals, such as
FREE Installation and a
FREE V HD Set-Top-Box.
Prices for VM's bundles typically start at just £20 per month (+£12.99 for a Virgin Phone Line), including a 10Mbps broadband service with "
unlimited downloads" (Traffic Management) and a free wireless N router, 65 TV channels and "unlimited" weekend calls to UK landlines and Virgin mobiles.
Additional options with faster speeds and more calls/tv are also available. It's worth noting that a 12 month contract will usually apply and, effective from 1st August 2011, the price of a Virgin Phone Line will rise to £13.90 per month.
