Internet provider Aquiss UK has today informed ISPreview.co.uk that they have managed to enable "
unlimited" up to 24Mbps broadband ISP services in Bridgnorth,
Shropshire. The ISP claims that its move, which was conducted as part of a unique LLU partnership with
Cable & Wireless (C&W), is due to the perceived failure by mainstream operators to deliver faster services in the region.
Martin Pitt, MD of Aquiss, said:
"I am very proud of our Shropshire roots, however, like many of our customers, we are deeply frustrated by the continued delays by wholesale operators to roll out higher speeds technologies in the county."
We are in the middle of a proactive project to upgrade a number of the exchanges in Shropshire, that also include Cuckoo Oak, Ludlow, Hollinswood, Oswestry, Shrewsbury and Whitchurch".
