Business ISP
Fluidata has witnessed a
60% increase in broadband internet traffic this week compared to previous highs, with over 50% of that coming from the BBC's iPlayer video streaming service.
Fluidata's primary focus is the business sector and as a result this increase during normal working hours is representative of
office staff going online to keep up with the latest news. In this instance the traffic surge appears to have been
caused by interest in the riots and looting that has suddenly swept across London and other UK cities.
