Internet provider PlusNet UK, which often boasts about its ability to offer standalone "broadband that won't be beat on price", has begun offering their 'up to' 20Mbps Value Broadband service at Half Price for 12 Months (i.e. reduced to £3.24 from £6.49 per month) but only if you take their Home Phone product too.

The Value package typically includes 'up to' 20Mbps download speeds, a 10GB usage allowance (unlimited overnight usage), free wireless router and more. Under the offer, new customers who take the package alongside Line Rental at £11.99 per month will pay just £3.24 a month for their broadband and calls (includes free evening and weekend calls).

The new promotion starts today and will be available until 5th October 2011. A separate Anytime Calls Value bundle is also available for £6.74 per month (usually £9.99).
