ISP PlusNet UK Launch Free Software Tool to Help Fix Common Internet Problems

Broadband ISP PlusNet UK has today announced the launch of a new software tool called PlusNet Assist, which once downloaded claims to help fix common Internet problems like broadband connectivity faults. It can also help people to setup a new Wi-Fi wireless network or run a PC health check etc.The free tool "silently works in the background" and jumps into action whenever it detects a problem, although a small number of users have experienced pop-ups even when they didn't have any difficulties (it's unclear if there is a way to disable the notices). The tool is also only available for PC's.
