Broadband ISP supplier
BE Wholesale, the business division of home internet provider Be Broadband UK, has today announced the launch of its new
Symmetric DSL (
SDSL-M and
SDSL-A) service for the smaller scale wholesale and reseller channel. Symmetric means that the services speed is the same in both directions (i.e. downloads and uploads).
The BE Business SDSL-M and SDSL-A broadband products claim to offer uncontended and unlimited performance, supported by an
Enhanced Support level with a 6-hour fix SLA agreement.
Dan Cunliffe, Head of BE Wholesale, said:
"Many small businesses are still relying on consumer grade broadband, which can never offer the same level of guaranteed connectivity as business grade services and is often a false economy in terms of pricing and usage.
The launch of BE Wholesale Business SDLS-M and A gives our partners the opportunity to offer business grade broadband to small businesses across the entire UK."
SDSL-M and SDSL-A (i.e. Annex-A or -M technology) run with speeds of up to
2.5Mbps and are available over BE's existing ADSL2+ (up to 24Mbps) network of unbundled ( LLU ) telephone exchanges (covers most of the country).
