Griffin Internet, a UK channel supplier of managed internet services, has won the annual '
ISP of the Year' (supplier) gong at this year's
2011 Comms National Awards (CNA). Meanwhile O2 also won the gong for best '
Mobile Carrier of the Year' and
Gamma Telecom took best '
Fixed Line Carrier of the Year'.
Cherie Everett, Head of Marketing at Griffin, said:
"It was fantastic to win ISP of the Year again this year. Over the last 12 months we have invested an incredible amount upgrading our core network to cope with increasing demand. We have also launched a series of new products including WBC, FTTC, various cloud security services, an automated Ethernet quoting tool and the Data Revenue Generator™ programme."
In related news the winners of this year's
UK Deloitte Technology Fast 50, which ranks the country's 50 fastest-growing technology companies based on percentage growth in revenue over five years', were recently revealed and included several broadband ISPs and telecoms firms (e.g. Beaming and Geo Networks).
