The promotion only applies to their mid and top range 'The All Rounder' and 'The Works' packages.

O2 doesn't mention download speed in its product details anymore, although their service is still based off the same 'up to' 20/24Mbps ADSL2+ technology as it was before. A free connection can also be had if you take out a 12 month contract.

On top of that customers can add the O2 Home Phone (Line Rental) service for an extra £7.50 per month, with Evening & Weekend calls costing an extra £2.50 if needed; Anytime calls cost an additional £6.00 (includes free international calls to 20 destinations and 25% cheaper daytime mobile rates).
