ISPreview.co.uk would just like to wish all of our visitors a very happy holiday season and a Merry Christmas 2011! As usual we'll be taking a few days break over the long holiday weekend to rest, cook Turkey, wear silly hats and hopefully celebrate in style.
Meanwhile readers should remember that at this time of year most broadband ISPs are affected by seasonal staff shortages. This can cause customer support to be a lot slower and will also delay any new installations or upgrades that you might have ordered.
Stormy weather and snow are also known to disrupt broadband performance ( ADSL / ADSL2+ lines ), as can those twinkling lights that are usually found hanging around Christmas Trees. They're widely known to produce electrical interference that could cause some broadband lines to suffer instability.
Now if we could just get through one Christmas without having to hear that "Walking in the Air" (The Snowman) song yet again then all will be well with the world. Here's something better..
PS - Please also spare a thought at Christmas for those whom are either working and or potentially less fortunate than yourself.
