EE (4GEE) has today introduced a refreshed range of 4G (LTE at 1800MHz) based SIM-Only plans. But keep an eye on the slightly bigger Mobile Broadband data allowances because they’ll only last until 31st January 2015 before being reduced.
Until today the cheapest 4G SIM-Only plan from EE cost £9.99 per month (12 month contract) and included 500 minutes, 500 texts and just 100MB of data (plus the usual 2 for 1 films etc.). Similarly paying £22.99 would have got you unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 4GB of data.

By comparison the new plans seem to give a more attractive data allowance, albeit at the cost of free minutes, and the higher-end packages will see their allowances slashed after January 2015. Here are the “refreshed” equivalents of the above two tariffs (12 month contract).
£9.99 Per Month (£12.99 on a 30 day contract)
* 250MB Data
* 250 Minutes
* Unlimited Texts£21.99 Per Month (£24.99 on a 30 day contract)
* 5GB Data
* Unlimited Minutes
* Unlimited Texts
Unfortunately the £21.99 package will, after January 2015, see its data allowance being cut to just 3GB and it’s the same for two of the other top-end tariffs. Luckily the two cheapest deals are not affected, although as stated you do lose some of the included minutes.
