Telecoms giant EE hasn’t let the recent news of a potential BT acquisition sour their existing propositions and to that end they will today launch a new Christmas offer that slashes their Unlimited Home Broadband packages to just £1.95 per month, while their superfast Unlimited Fibre (FTTC) options now start at just £9.98 a month.
New customers who take up the offer will of course also need to take EE’s Phone Line Rental service at either the equivalent of £11.00 a month (i.e. when you pay for 12 months in advance = £132) or £15.75 as a standard monthly charge.

The packages also include a free wireless router (BrightBox2 with Gigabit WiFi on FTTC), unlimited data usage, one year’s subscription to Norton Online Security and a free connection. Customers who need a new line installed will also pay just £30 (normally £60). Take note that a 12-18 month contract usually applies.

One downside is that EE’s 2for1 Orange Wednesdays promotion (e.g. 2-for-1 cinema tickets or 2-for-1 pizza express pizza deals every Wednesday) will be finishing on the last Wednesday of February 2015, although we understand that some sort of new EE TV centric promotion is due to surface as a replacement.
