ISP Plusnet Cut 12 Month Broadband and Fibre Prices Until 25th April 2017

Friday, March 31st, 2017 (8:50 am) - Score 594
plusnet uk

New customers of Plusnet’s various broadband packages, specifically those that come with a 12 month contract term, may like to know that the ISP has shaved a few extra pounds off their monthly rental prices. The latest discounts are available to order until 25th April 2017.

Each of the discounted packages give customers unlimited usage, an included wireless router, included line rental, Parental Controls (network-level filtering) and UK-based customer support. A number of UK calling add-ons are also available (e.g. Anytime calls), albeit at extra cost. Otherwise the prices are as follows..

Unlimited (up to 17Mbps)
Price: £20 per month for 12 months (£27.98 thereafter) + £10 one-off activation fee

Unlimited Fibre (up to 38Mbps)
Price: £25 per month for 12 months (£32.98 thereafter) + £25 one-off activation fee

Unlimited Fibre Extra (up to 76Mbps)
Price: £30 per month for 12 months (£37.98 thereafter) + £25 one-off activation fee

As usual you can only get the “Fibre” service if Openreach has deployed their FTTC (VDSL2) technology to your area (it’s available to nearly 90% of UK premises). Meanwhile those in the most remote rural and disadvantaged urban areas may have to pay a few pounds more for their service due to existing outside of Plusnet’s “low cost area” (i.e. in a location where Openreach is the only primary broadband infrastructure supplier).

If tomorrow, I read a headline saying PN are going to GIVE people £5 per month to take their service, I wont know if it is a joke or not.
