Broadband ISP Connexin has announced that their £80m project, which aims to build a new 10Gbps capable Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) network across parts of Hull and East Yorkshire (here and here), has now been extended into the market town of Beverley. The operator plans to start connecting customers “shortly“.
Until now, the operator has initially been focused on deploying their new fibre optic network around the Kingswood area of North Hull, with Kestevan Way and Wawne Road also seeing activity. The first homes began to go live on this network in January, but now they’re extending out to target homes and businesses in the HU17 postcode area too (i.e. in and around Beverley).
The move – supported by real asset manager firm PATRIZIA – continues Connexin’s trend of deliberately building in areas where KCOM has already established its own full fibre network, albeit while offering faster (up to 2Gbps symmetric for homes) and more competitively priced packages.

Simon Burckhardt, MD of Connexin Consumer and Business, said:
“When we originally announced the network rollout in Hull, we spoke about our commitment to create a more competitive broadband marketplace in the city –we’re acting on that promise. Our expansion into Beverley is a step towards broadband choice for people not only in Hull, but in the surrounding areas as well.”
Residential customers of the unlimited service tend to pay from £37.50 per month (free setup and Wi-Fi 6 router) for a symmetric speed of 125Mbps on an 18-month term, which rises to £49.99 for their top 1000Mbps tier (2Gbps is a trial product).
Does anyone know if they have now finished hull? Not seen any announcement on progress if they haven’t done
Way off being done but slowly working their way around.
If you have a look on one.network you’ll have a rough idea of where they are and plan to go.
