Banking and money management app provider Revolut, which earlier this year revealed plans to launch a full domestic mobile service for UK consumers with unlimited calls, texts, and 5G data (mobile broadband), has – after a long wait – finally started to deploy the new service to customers for an introductory offer of just £12.50 a month.
The company has previously launched a limited eSIM based mobile service for roaming travellers (here), but the new service goes beyond that and will initially be made available to those who signed up to their waitlist earlier in the year. General access for other customers is then expected to follow in January 2026.
The Revolut Mobile service is powered by Gigs, the operating system for mobile services (Revolut Ltd acts as an agent on its behalf). As above, early adopters will pay a “special early-bird rate” of just £12.50 a month if they sign up before 30th of March 2026 (after that it’ll cost £14.99), which gets you unlimited 5G data, calls, and texts at home, with a 20GB (GigaBytes) data roaming allowance across Europe and the US.

The entire service can also be managed within the Revolut app, allowing customers to activate a plan, keeping their existing number or selecting a new one.
Additional Features of Revolut Mobile
➤ Global messaging: customers travelling to more than 80 countries (beyond EEA and US), can stay connected with Messaging Pass, an allowance that provides low-bandwidth data for messaging and other apps.*
➤ Multiple numbers, one plan: customers can have up to three separate numbers on a single plan (starting from £2 extra per month). Perfect for easily separating work and personal life, or for obtaining a number just for merchant sign-ups, protecting your primary number from unwanted calls/texts.
➤ VIP numbers: customers can select new numbers from a range of exclusive VIP numbers for an enhanced personal touch, at £10 per month.
➤ Security: all plans include a complimentary NordVPN subscription to ensure secure and private connections.
Revolut’s loyalty program, RevPoints, also integrates with their mobile plans, allowing customers to pay for or discount their plan using their points.
Hadi Nasrallah, General Manager of Telco at Revolut, said:
“Revolut Mobile is more than just another mobile service, it’s a truly differentiated alternative designed to change the industry. Our goal is simple: offer the best service, at the best price, leveraging the best user experience. We’re bringing true innovation with features such as multiple numbers & global messaging, while removing any hassle or hidden fees from the process.”
The launch of yet another eSIM based virtual mobile operator wouldn’t normally be big news, since a new one seems to pop up almost every other week. But Revolut’s entry into the market could be much more significant, not only due to how cheap it is, but because the company can tap into and market it to their existing UK base of 12 million consumers.

Gigs seems to be an MVNO white label platform that supports access to various networks.
In this case it seems Revolut has chosen Vodafone, according to Bloomberg – https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-12-16/revolut-s-newest-product-offering-is-uk-mobile-phone-service
Would be nice to know what network in the UK they’re going to be using for this. It is very competitive.
I did some digging and found out it was Vodafone…
now, does it offer VoLTE, Wifi-Calling and Visual Voicemail?
I can’t see this offer in my revolut app?
Did you try reading the article?
It hasn’t launched yet. There is a link in this article to join the waitlist.

I have joined the waitlist but I’m not sure because the network is Vodafone (which is absolute garbage where I live).
The official announcement today does say it “has started rolling out Revolut Mobile to waitlist customers with general access available in January 2026“.
Nah, I avoid Revolut at all cost!
