The remote rural villages of Llangedwyn and Llanfechain in Powys (Wales, UK) now have access to wireless broadband download speeds of up to 100Mbps (Megabits per second), which is all thanks to a new and curiously marketed “fibre over the air” service from local ISP eXwavia.

Apparently not everybody is as happy about the £425m scheme to roll-out superfast broadband services to 96% of premises in Wales (UK) as the Welsh Government. So much so that one individual has now taken it upon themselves to do a mildly entertaining tongue-firmly-in-cheek version of the projects official website.

The politicians responsible for the United Kingdom’s already heavily delayed national roll-out of superfast broadband services now have a new phrase to swing around, “Fast Start”, which will soon be available right across the country.
