Consumer magazine Which? has published the outcome from their latest H2 2016 reader survey of broadband ISP satisfaction, which for the 10th time has named Zen Internet the best of the bunch. Sadly the news isn’t so good for TalkTalk, which had the lowest customer satisfaction score of 37%.

The Post Office has confirmed that their website will today be updated to reflect the Advertising Standards Authority‘s new all-inclusive pricing guideline (details), which nudges ISPs to combine the cost of phone line rental and broadband into a single price.

Customers looking to take their standard unlimited broadband from the Post Office may like to know that they’re offering the service at £3 a month for the first 18 months (£10 thereafter), although you still have to bundle this with phone line rental from £16.99 per month.

Good news, Ofcom’s latest Q2 2016 consumer complaints report finds that the total volume of UK Telecoms (mobile, broadband and phone) and Pay TV complaints has declined. Sadly some ISPs have fared better than others, with BT coming out top of the worst for fixed line home broadband.

Once again the Post Office has announced a series of annual price hikes for their broadband and phone services, which will be introduced from 5th September 2016 (the last increase was on the 9th November 2015, so it’s now two hikes within a single year).

UK ISPs EE, BT and TalkTalk have managed to collect the greatest proportion of consumer complaints for their fixed line broadband services, at least that’s one way of reading Ofcom’s Q1 2016 consumer complaints report. Meanwhile Virgin Media and Sky Broadband attracted the fewest gripes.

The telecoms regulator has released their latest complaints report to the end of 2015, which reveals what mobile, TV, phone and broadband providers in the United Kingdom attracted the most consumer complaints. EE topped the naughty list for broadband, while TalkTalk dominated for fixed line phone gripes.

The Post Office will today launch a new deal that offers their top unlimited broadband package at half price (£4 a month) for the first 12 months of service (£8 per month thereafter), although you still have to pay for line rental from the equivalent of £14 a month if pre-paid for a year or £16 as standard.

Consumer magazine Which? has today published the results of their latest Q1 2015 reader survey of broadband ISP satisfaction, which found that customers of John Lewis’s broadband division and Zen Internet were the most satisfied with their service. Meanwhile all of the biggest ISPs could be found languishing at the bottom.
