Symantec's latest monthly SPAM report for September 2007 found that junk e-mail accounted for 70% of all e-mail, which is up from 69% during August.
Interestingly many rival security groups claim figures closer to 85% or even 90%+, proving just how difficult it is to be accurate.
Happily PDF, e-card and image based SPAM all saw decreases in their use, while text and HTML-based attacks continue to be the most prevalent.
