ISP Launches URL Shrinking Service

The people behind UK ISP Fast.co.uk have announced the launch of a new URL (website address) shrinking service, http://url.co.uk :
Rival TinyURL already offers a near identical service although we dont believe it checks against a database of malicious phishing sites.
Offering a fast and intuitive interface, visitors to URL.co.uk can enter a long website address and click one button to automatically create a short forwarding URL that can be used on business cards, in emails or given out in person - in short, anywhere you like.
URL's submitted are checked against a frequently updated database of known 'phishing' addresses, helping to prevent users being sent to malicious websites that are involved in identity theft & fraud. Those that match are rejected outright.
