BT will publish its second quarter results for 2007 next week, which is expected to reveal plans for significant job cuts. The move is part of the operators wider restructuring and could see thousands of staff moved to other positions, with some being put out of work entirely.
The operator currently employs over 100,000 staff, with most of the redundancies expected to come from middle management. BT's move will follow a similar one from Tiscali (
Pipex) earlier in the week.
