New research from Cisco's Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG) has revealed that 90% of Western European broadband users are interested in a connected life. Further more, 42% were willing to pay 3.50 per month to enable easy management and access to their household digital content.
Meanwhile the average broadband consumer now spends 21 hours a week online, which compares with 11 spent viewing television. Furthermore, 69% have downloaded or watched an online video in the past month.
