Telecom's operator Spitfire is looking to extend itself into broadband Internet access after it became the latest to sign with Easynet's wholesale broadband service, LLUStream:
Using its own kit installed in BT exchanges via a process known as local loop unbundling (LLU), Easynet offers operators the chance to provide telecoms services direct to end users.
Easynet also claims its prices are between 30-35 per cent cheaper than BT Wholesale.
Spitfire - whose customers include Hackett, the River Café and West Ham footy club - has become the fifth ISP to sign up to Easynet's unbundled service.Freedom2Surf yesterday announced further products based off LLUStream, which seems to be growing in popularity, albeit still lacking strong coverage.
