Business ISP Datanet is preparing to present a key event in Aldershot known as '
A Business Vision For 2005 and Beyond'. The provider will use its new platform to outline future plans for the region:
North East Hampshire has seen major business developments in recent years, and the area has become a focal point for business growth. Datanet has been at the center of this expansion, its success proved by the Hampshire-based company's recent award win for Best National Business ISP at the prestigious Internet Service Providers Association (ISPA) awards. The upcoming event will provide local businesses with the chance to reveal their plans for progress over the coming years.
The half-day seminar will begin with a presentation from Andrew Lloyd, Chief Executive of Rushmoor Council, on the future of Rushmoor and the South East Plan - a plan that will shape the future of the area with its targets for the next twenty years. This will be followed by a talk from Viv Evans, Corporate Director at Hart Council, who will set the scene for Hart.
Datanet will be presenting alongside representatives from some of the other most prominent businesses in the Hampshire area, including The Wilky Group, QinetiQ and TAG Aviation. The presentations will be followed by a Q & A session and networking buffet lunch, providing the chance for local businesses such as Datanet to interact with one another.
"This event gives Datanet and other local businesses the chance to explain how they think Hampshire impacts on their business, and in turn how their business impacts on Hampshire," explains Datanet's Managing Director Conleth McCallan. "It is a great opportunity for Datanet to explain just how doing business in Hampshire has improved recently."The event in Aldershot will be held on Tuesday 19th April 2005.
