BlueLeaf Internet has conducted a survey of its customers and found that the majority (44%) of respondents placed 'Customer Service' quality above 'Speed' (28%), 'Price' (17%) and data allowance (11%) when considering an ISP:
Just under one third of customers surveyed indicated that speed was the deciding factor in which broadband ISP they chose as their service provider. Price (17%) and the amount of data (11%) included in the monthly service fee (Included GB) was the factor that swayed their choice and amounted to nearly another third of votes. The poll shows a landslide victory for customer service, with the majority of customers (44%) suggesting that this is the most important factor for choosing an ISP.
With the launch of BlueLeafs Customer Charter in April its becoming clear that customers are no longer interested in an ISPs spin and are more likely to choose an ISP based on personal recommendation and the quality of service they can provide.
