AbbiTalk's Broadband Voice Service

West Sussex based VoIP provider AbbiTalk has launched a cut-rate broadband call package offering customers extra telephone lines with local numbers, no line rental and charges ranging from free to 1.2p/min:
Customers using broadband simply pay the installation charge for their chosen AbbiTalk VoIP deal and can then take advantage of an extra phone line (ideal for a home business or use by the kids!), free calls to users of AbbiTalk and other UK and international SIP services, low call rates of 1.2/min to UK BT phones and less than 2p/min for calls to the USA, Australia and China.
Prices start at £149 for AbbiTalkBasicOne, which provides one extra phone line, a unique number with Pre Pay phone account, an adaptor and a DECT digital cordless phone with digital answering machine. AbbiTalkOne adds an award-winning router/hub to the above package, while AbbiTalkTwo provides two phone lines with a single, unique number shared across both, an award-winning router/hub, digital cordless phone with digital answering machine and an additional digital phone. AbbiTalkTwoPlus provides two extra phone lines with two separate numbers and also two DECT digital phones with digital answer machines. The top package, AbbiTalkTwoWF adds WiFi networking of the customer's computer.
AbbiTalk customers can use their existing broadband connection to adopt the service, or AbbiTalk can supply broadband at highly competitive prices of £13.99 for 2MB* or as Pay as you Go costing from £0 per month**.
AbbiTalk customers generally save £90 over the cost of using BT phone lines in year one and a further £110 in subsequent years. Savings on BT call charges depend on the package concerned. Customers simply pay a one-off charge for delivery, installation and configuration of one or two telephone lines with standard local telephone numbers. With AbbiTalk's service, no line rental is charged and there's no need to use a computer to make the calls: this is done through the standard cordless handsets.
