The NetAccess group owned ISP 'breathe' has begun offering
Gio Internet subscribers a transfer to their service. Breathes new CRM and billing system should enable Gio customers to keep their existing email usernames and passwords so they can switch with minimal disruption:
breathe were invited to deliver a continued service to Gio Internet customers as the Gio service is due to cease over the weekend. Although breathe will not take responsibility for the corporate side of Gio Internet (Hauka), they have agreed to honour the subscriptions of the customers who pay in advance for their package. Customers are therefore advised to follow the instructions given to them in the emails and letters they have received to ensure they remain connected.
Commenting on the transfer of service, Marcus East, Managing Director of Net Access, owner of breathe said: With Internet Access being an important part of everyday life, we realise how distressing a disruption could be and so we will be going out of our way to make the transition to breathe as easy as possible for Gio Internet customers. Most importantly, we will be honouring Internet connectivity for those customers who have paid in advance for their package, and we are confident that once they have experienced our high level of customer service and other great offers, they will be happy to stay with us for the future too!
This ends a turbulent time for Gio Internet customers, who have been uncertain as to what will happen to their connectivity since the company ran into trouble late last year. The breathe customer call centre is on hand to aid customers with connectivity problems, and a helpline (08707 425 279) has been set up to help customers who may have questions regarding their account, and is open 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. We've also heard from some
Activeware subscribers whom have received the same promotion in their e-mails. From what we understand this is a strictly customer-transfer based promotion.
