NewNet has today confirmed its participation in BT's 8Mbps broadband ADSL MAX trials from 30th November. Existing customers will be able to upgrade for free:
"Existing NewNet customers, who would like to participate in the trial, will be able to upgrade to the maximum available DSL speed at no additional charge providing their local exchange has been enabled for the MAX services. New customers will have the option to join the trial immediately, signing up to our award winning broadband service with the option for high speed service at the standard cost. - John Mobley, MD, NewNet plc.
