AOL Offers Free Wireless Router

Posted: 08th Nov, 2005 By: MarkJ
From today, new customers signing up to AOL Broadband Platinum and existing AOL members who upgrade to the Platinum service, which offers speeds of up to 2Mbps, will receive a free wireless router worth £60. But that's not all.

In addition, all new AOL Broadband customers will receive their first month free as part of a pre-Christmas special offer, with both offers running until January 13th, 2006.

David Carr, Senior Vice President of Access at AOL UK said: “A wireless home networking connection opens up many exciting possibilities for home Internet users, giving you the freedom to surf from wherever you like, as well as eliminating messy wires from the household.

It’s ideal for busy families who really want to get the most out of their broadband connection, as it enables everyone to be online at the same time, participating in different activities such as gaming, entertainment or even home working.
