Business ISP Datanet has announced that it is an official registrar for the much sought after .eu domain names:
Datanet becomes one of only a handful of UK registrars recognised by EURid, the not-for-profit organisation selected by the European Commission to administer all .eu domain names.
Adopting a .eu domain name allows a UK business with either an existing, escalating or aspiring global presence to be viewed as a European company. The official land-rush registration process starts on April 7th 2006 and Datanet can take advance requests for all .eu domain names as of now.
The cost for a one year registration of an .eu domain name is only £29, in the event that a registration is unsuccessful Datanet will be offering either an alternative .eu or .co.uk domain, or a full refund.
For full information on registering a .eu domain name, visit http://www.datanet.co.uk or call 0845 130 6010.
