Telabria's WiMAX Based VoIP
By: MarkJ - 08 December, 2005 (2:02 PM)

Telabria has teamed up with Linksys to enable voice services for business and residential subscribers over their WiMAX-class wireless broadband network:

Pricing and Availability

Telabria has rolled out tailored VoIP offerings with Linksys IP telephony products at their core. Using the Linksys SPA-2100 ATA, Skylink Voice provides residential customers with unlimited local and national calls for £9.99 (€14.70) per month, while Skylink Voice Pro offers unlimited calling at £19.99 (€29.50) for business customers.

Skylink Voice PBX combines the Linksys 841 IP handset with ten VoIP lines and a fully-featured virtual switchboard with auto attendant, voice and fax to email, and multi-destination ‘follow-me’ call forwarding. Skylink Voice PBX also offers employees number portability; using a Linksys SPA-1001 ATA device they can take their virtual extension with them for working at home or on the road.

Telabria’s Skylink service delivers symmetric broadband at speeds up to 10Mbps to customers in South East England over a hybrid network of fibre and radio, completely bypassing the copper local loop.
