Ouranos (Aramiska) Problems

Posted: 14th Sep, 2006 By: MarkJ
Customers of the satellite broadband ISP Ouranos (formerly Aramiska) have reported a serious loss of connectivity, with many having now having been disconnected for over 24 hours. One reader (Dan) managed to find a brief service update before the website vanished:

Ouranos Networks is experiencing a general network problem that affects all the services we are offering. This incident is directly related to the services that we share with Belgacom

To make matters worse Ouranos has now stopped answering its telephones, causing a great deal of concern among customers. The situation is an unwelcome reminder of Aramiska's fall from grace at the start of this year.
