We've just uploaded a new poll, which asks: "Does faster broadband encourage you to download more?". Results from the previous months survey can be found below:
How do you rate the quality of your broadband connection?
Good - 28% Excellent - 25.6% Average - 16.6% Poor - 15.9% Terrible - 13.6%
Total Votes = 819
Much as expected, the majority (54%) of broadband users rate their ISP's connection quality to be better than 'Good'. Meanwhile 17% felt the connection to be just plain average.
Unfortunately nearly 30% of voters highlighted their connection to be poor or terrible. Certainly the past few months have seen more broadband ISP instability than we've been accustomed to. Could the days of broadband and reliability being treated as one and the same now be gone?
