Thinkbroadband reports that operator Kingston Communications has purchased ISP Mistral Internet for a cool £19.6 million:
This acquisition is part of Kingstons ongoing strategy to accelerate the growth and capabilities of its UK broadband business. Mistral increases the scope of Kingstons internet operations, deepening its expertise in the managed services sector of the fast growing broadband internet services market.
Mistral, which provides a strong complementary fit with the services already provided through our Eclipse Internet brand, will be managed as part of the Kingston Communications business.
Mistral itself offers a range of consumer and business Internet products and currently has a customer base of approximately 5,000, including some larger corporate clients.
