Not to be confused with
Isle of Wight cable operator
Wight Cable (WC),
Wight Cable North (WCN) is a separate entity offering services to
Scotland and the North of England.
Thinkbroadband reports that WCN will shortly re-brand itself to
Smallworld:
The countdown has begun. Wightcable is being upgraded and is now part of Smallworld, the UKs only all digital network for Phone, TV and Broadband.
Over the coming weeks Smallworld will be launching improved TV services and faster broadband speeds. There will be more choice of channels, a brand new set top box and the best broadband service in Scotland and the North of England.
Further information can be gained from an external website,
here. Re-branding should at least remove some of the obvious confusion between the two similarly titled operators.
