ISP Tiscali UK has improved the security of its portals online webmail (website based e-mail) service:
Emailers using the service will now be given the option of encrypting their credentials when they log in to ensure their personal details aren't at risk. All email will be protected by SSL (secure socket layer) encryption technology.
In addition to this, the new interface for Tiscali's email application has been redesigned using customer feedback. You can now log in and check email, update personal calendars and send reminders all from the same place.
It's nice to have some positive news coming out from Tiscali for a change, although sadly the complaints still keep coming. More @
