Pipex Buys Rival ISP - Freedom2Surf

UK ISP Pipex has paid £10m to buy rival Freedom2Surf (F2S), which will boost its investment in local loop unbundling (LLU).
In a statement today Pipex said, "The acquisition of F2S increases customer density around exchanges already allocated for unbundling, improving return on capital."
F2S already has around 40,000 broadband customers and this will mean that Pipex will have around 250,000 high speed users in total. More atThe Register.
