NewNet has confirmed cuts to the cost of its 2Mbps SDSL (same speed both ways) broadband product to just £165 from £320 +vat per month!:
Peter Coates-Buglear, MD at NewNet said, Customers were saying SDSL was too highly priced. We have responded by reducing prices, making SDSL services a much easier choice for all levels of business users.
Business users want to be able to upload data as fast as they can download and symmetric DSL is just the tool that they have been waiting for. Now that many more BT exchanges are ready to offer this service, the price reduction is just the signal that many have been waiting for.
The reduction in SDSL costs continues NewNets push into the business broadband market. The NewNet service includes a hosting package or hosting package credit.
NewNet Broadband won the 2005 ISPA award for Best Light Consumer Broadband and more recently received critical acclaim from The Sunday Times newspaper described as breakneck browsing with speedy surfing and emails arriving in a flash!Clearly some providers are taking good advantage of recent industry price cuts, making SDSL ever more affordable. We also note that NewNet's products run off a 10:1 contention.
