ISP UK Online, which we've recently been seeing some complaints about, has teamed up with film company 'Future Shorts' to launch a national short film competition. The move is designed to showcase the power of broadband, while helping the UK's film industry:
To enter, users can upload their films via the competition website http://www.ukonline.net/faster, which contains news, updates, and practical tips on how to create and edit a short film.The website will also have a selection of short films available for free download.
Budding directors have until 23 October to submit their entry, for the chance to win an international film distribution contract with Future Shorts, as well as a film making course at the New York Film School.
The competition judges include Nik Powell, Director of the National Film & Television School and producer of films including Mona Lisa and Absolute Beginners.The
