The ISP wing of popular supermarket store Waitrose has launched a 2Mbps broadband ADSL service for £18.99 per month. Unlike most providers, all money raised through this service goes to charity:
* Waitrose is still the only UK internet provider to give all profits to charity. Users of Waitrose.com superfast Broadband will be able to surf the net with even more speed and efficiency whilst remaining secure in the knowledge that every penny they spend will go directly to good causes. Waitrose distributes all profits from the service to four major charities selected by its customers: Prince's Trust, Macmillan Cancer Relief, British Heart Foundation and British Red Cross
* Waitrose.com aims to make broadband simple and is one of the few that offer just one broadband service. The fastest speed your phone line can support up to 2Mb for only £18.99 per month. That's 40 times faster than a standard internet connection!
* Other 2Mb services are more expensive and some providers don't even offer it yet. Signing up even gets you a free modem and connection (saving over £80).
* For users already accessing broadband, switching to Waitrose.com means getting up to 3 months free subscription (another saving of almost £60). Switching is easy and http://www.Waitrose.com manages the whole process for you.
