On the 29th Of September 2005, at 12.00 pm, the Angelfire ISP Group acquired broadband provider Broadsurf for an undisclosed amount.
The Angelfire Group, who own ISP's such as
Firenet, Surfnet24, ISPBOX and Action, provide Internet Service Provision and full technical support for it's existing customers.
Alan Castle, CEO of the Angelfire Group, stated today,
"We are proud to acquire this reputable Internet Service Provider, it will do very well for our profitability and we will be glad to offer all our new customers the same level of service as we have done with our other customers who have remained loyal to us over the years.
On assurance to our new customers at Broadsurf, the existing service will not change not in anyway, we will be doing some upgrade work in the next few weeks with new services being implemented, and our customers will be able to purchase additional services such as such as hosting, co location, Anti spam, Anti Virus services, 0845 and 0808 dial up services.
We can assure all customers, no problems or detriment will occur on the new service provision. The only thing you get more off, is a great aftercare and excellent product standards." Dan Journo, Managing Director of Broadsurf.co.uk stated,
