Eclipse Internet has announced that the speeds of the majority of its FLEX Home Broadband services are to be doubled for existing and new customers alike with no price change. The ISP is also prepping 8Mbps infrastructure:
Customers can now experience twice the speed for the same price on all of Eclipses unlimited and uncapped FLEX Home services, up to 1Mbps. Customers with the FLEX Home 2000 service will instead get a monthly saving of £10 as their tariff is reduced to just £29.99 a month.
New customers can also take advantage of Eclipses unique boostable FLEX Broadband service for free for one month. The FLEX part of Eclipses offering allows customers who have the Home 500 or Home 1000 service the chance to boost their connection up to 2Mbps when they want to increase their download speeds.
As well as increasing every customers current connection speed, the technical infrastructure for speeds up to 8Mbps for every customer will be put in place. Customers will then have access to this super-fast broadband speed as soon as it is available across the industry expected by autumn 2005.
For any new customers signing up to any FLEX Home service in July, they will also receive a free modem and connection normally costing £84.74. For further product details plus terms and conditions, see the Eclipse Internet website http://www.eclipsebroadband.com
