ISP UK Online has questioned over 1,000 mums with kids aged 4-16 and found that most (51%) would rather buy a broadband connection for education, with 68% saying the technology has made their life easier:
Sixty-two per cent of mums say that since they've had broadband at home they have less problems with the phone bill, fewer family arguments about who's using the phone line (61 per cent) and have saved time and money by shopping online (41 per cent). No doubt sentiments that could easily be shared by a good deal of broadband subscribers, young and old alike.
