Thinkbroadband reports that Cable & Wireless (C&W) has incorrectly issued several old
Bulldog Broadband customers with final bills. In some cases ex-customers that hadn't been with the service for over two years suddenly received one.
The good news is that these bills appear to have been issued in error, which isn't surprising considering that
Pipex now owns the customer database and not C&W (technically it's Tiscali). C&W has advised those receiving the bills to ignore them, though it may be worth double checking with a quick phone call, just to be safe.
Mind you this does raise another question, why does Cable & Wireless still have the personal details of its ex-customers? Especially with some having left years ago.
