ISP UK Online has promoted its General Manager, Chris Stening, to the higher position of Managing Director following the providers re-launch last month:
Chris was previously General Manager of UK Online prior to the acquisition of its parent company, Easynet, by BSkyB in early 2006. Whilst at BSkyB, Chris was a key part of the management team in the development and launch of Sky Broadband. Chris has long been a champion for UK small business. He was part of the team at BT which introduced the BT Business packages and whilst at ntl drove the launch of the first small business internet, email and telephone bundle package.
Chris Stening, Managing Director, UK Online: "Small businesses are using an inappropriate mix of consumer and high priced business broadband packages. UK Online will provide a unique service that caters specifically for businesses of one to ten employees and offers products and technical support which will genuinely make a difference to their business.
