UK broadband hardware and digital equipment provider,
DSL Source, has announced the launch of its new on-site PC installation, maintenance and emergency support services for UK homes and offices:
The support services ranges from hardware replacement and upgrades, wireless connection, peripheral install right through to full media centre installations. Not only will the support help consumers install and fix PC related problems, but it will also help them learn how to use their computer hardware more effectively and safely.
Paul Beeny, Business Development Director of DSL Source, said "
DSL Source.co.uk has always put their customer's needs first by offering free pre- and post sales technical support on all networking, VoIP and digital home products.
We want to make sure that customers enjoy their new purchase and realise the full potential of their broadband service. Our partnership with PCDoitall ensures that, should the customer require installation and other P.C related services, a qualified and knowledgeable I.T. engineer will visit them at a time to suit them."
To book an appointment with a computer engineer, customers can add an accompanying installation / maintenance service to their checkout basket. Within 24 hours of ordering, a friendly member of the field team will contact the customer to arrange a suitable date for installation.
Though most modern broadband installations are pretty simple, some people may still find it all too perplexing and hence services like this can help, but is there a market for it? Clearly BT thinks so otherwise it wouldn't have launched a similar service earlier in the year.
