BSkyB has issued its latest trading update to 30th June 2007, which saw the group’s broadband (ADSL) service adding 259,000 new customers; the total now stands at an impressive 716,000:


Sky has also managed to unbundled (LLU) 1,150 exchanges, which gives it 70% coverage of UK households; achieved six months ahead of plan. Unfortunately Sky’s broadband service has had the odd problem and we continue to see the occasional complaint about poor speeds.

Regardless, Sky has reiterated its 2010 forecast of aiming to have at least 3 million broadband customers.
