UK ISP Eclipse Internet has announced the launch of its new online Data Back Up (20 GigaBytes capacity) service. Costing from just £3.99 +vat per month, the secure system will automatically back-up documents when users log off or shut down their PCs:
Once the software is installed, files are automatically backed up daily. Users can restore all work at request and use the 20GB storage allowance to store critical data, including website content to safeguard against corruption.
There are 1.5 million reported incidents of theft, burglary and robbery in the UK per annum with 64,000 PCs reported stolen every year. With 56% of computer users also having lost a critical document through hardware problems, the back up service provides automated protection for the many businesses who forget to back up their data.
The software was specifically designed with the small business in mind. Whilst being efficient and easy to use, it offers extensive functionality and benefits including immediate file retrieval and quick and easy software installation. The service also gives businesses the ability to perform manual back up if required and offers added security with a privacy policy and encryption facility and double data back up to two separate locations.
