The latest research from InsightExpress, which polled ADSL subscribers in France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain and the UK, found that over 80% wanted voice, video and data over broadband:
Aside from price and availability, over a third said that the most compelling reason to receive voice, video and data services from one company is that it would be 'more convenient overall'.
The poll, conducted by market research firm InsightExpress on behalf of service management company SupportSoft, also found that 86 per cent of respondents believe that customer service would stay the same or improve if they received voice, video and data services from one provider. Some 17 per cent believe that it will 'improve significantly'.Sadly all is not golden, with the
VNUNet item highlighting two of the biggest concerns - poor sound quality (24%) and service outages following a power cut (24%).
