The latest Nielsen//NetRatings research has found that over half of the countrys population (32.3m people) are now hooked up to and surfing the Internet! Now for some additional stats from the same results:
The number of pages viewed per user per month increased by 17% on January last year, from around 855 to 1,000 pages.
Search engines, portals and communities have continued to dominate the most visited sites category, attracting around 87% of users.
In second place came telecom and internet services, drawing an average of 80% of web users, while sites for computer and electrical consumer goods managed 72%.More @
