Internet TV Growth Spurt Predicted

Analysts at Screen Digest have predicted that IPTV (Internet TV) services will account for 5% of subscriptions to the whole EU pay-tv market by 2008. Growth during 2004 has already been estimated at 120%, no doubt thanks to the broadband boom:
Net annual additions will nearly double next year, and increase by a factor of four in 2008, by the end of which they expect there to be over 4.4m IPTV subscribers in Europe.
